Thank You for Getting Lost With Us in Season Two!

Season Two has come to a close. If you had a chance to listen to our last podcast, you will realize a few things about us…

Number 1:

Tony and I love musicals. We really, really do.
We also love the music of Oliver Schroer, whose music you hear at the beginning of each podcast.

Number 2:

We are so grateful to all our guests this season! Our theme was ‘Life is a Pilgrimage’ and we delved into such varied topics as creativity, politics, faith, mental illness, and peacemaking. Thank you to each of the wonderful folks below:

-Writer, poet, podcaster, and singer Karyn Thurston opens up about her pilgrimage of faith deconstruction and finding God on the other side.

-Political operative and activist Jason Atkinson discusses the pilgrimage of civility in a unique season of our history.

-Grammy award-winning musician Sam Martin elaborates on the pilgrimage of the creative process.

-Co-founder of Follow the Camino’ Umberto di Venosa details his pilgrimage of starting a business

-Co-founder of the Global Immersion Project Jon Huckins shares what it is to be a true peacemaking pilgrim.

-Pastor, author and podcaster Jill Riley opens up about her pilgrimage through mental illness and how she has used her pain to advocate for others.

-Camino pilgrim Michael Turner shares about his pilgrimage on the Camino with his teenage son and how they became part of the group of friends that was featured on the documentary “I’ll Push You.”

-Camino pilgrim Lisa Closner addresses her desire to bring pilgrimage home during the pandemic.

Number 3:

After sailing through the first two goals in making this podcast (having fun and creating good content) we are struggling to reach our final goal that would ensure the continuation of this podcast. We need Pilgrim Lost to (at the very least) be able to sustain itself financially without us being in the red at the end of each season.

We are so appreciative of the few members of our community that are supporting us through Patreon. Thank you so much to those of you who are our monthly supporters. The unvarnished truth, however, is we need more support for this podcast to have a Season Three.

Would you consider supporting us with a small monthly donation on Patreon? It would mean so much to us and would help ensure that we can move forward with Season Three for Pilgrim Lost.

Number 4:

Tony and I both have other full-time jobs and other creative ventures besides this podcast but we create this content because we love to have these conversations about pilgrimage and how to live as a pilgrim in the every day. We hope that you are inspired and challenged by what we discuss and by the amazing folks that we have a chance to talk with. We want to continue to do this work and hope that you will come along on this pilgrimage with us.

We appreciate this community and hope to see you in September!
