100 days of ordinary objects art show/reception
I (Kari) decided to participate in the 100 Day Project for the very first time in 2019. The project is simple: explore a single creative idea for 100 days in a row.
I gave myself only 30 minutes to capture something I had encountered in my daily life; an 'ordinary object’ if you will. This practice was an essential part of my pilgriming practice from April 2nd to July 10th allowing me to see what we would term ‘ordinary’ with fresh eyes and find unexpected beauty in the mundane.
I will be displaying my pen and ink/watercolor pieces at TwentySix Cafe for the month of December with an opening reception on Thursday, December 5th from 6-9 pm. All pieces will be for sale for $40.
I’d love to see you there!
