Why Do the Non-Religious Love this Christian Pilgrimage?

Why Do the Non-Religious Love this Christian Pilgrimage?

The pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago could not be more religious. It is saturated in Christian history, dotted with churches catering to pilgrim needs, adorned with religious symbols at every turn and accompanied by the sounds of church bells and yet... most of the people who walk it would never darken a church in normal life. The vast majority of co-pilgrims we met would comfortably fall into the categories of unreligious or post-religious (the "uns" and "nones") and yet they unanimously call this unapologetically Christian journey among the most significant, meaningful and transformative experiences of their lives. Join our conversation about why that might be true.

Below is a link to the song (paste URL into browser) played at the end of the podcast. It is Psalm 53 sung in Aramaic inside a Georgian church.
