Portland Pilgrimage Liturgy
Last Sunday, Tony and I Iaunched the project that we have been working on all summer: our Pilgrim Lost Podcast. We decided to celebrate the occasion with something tangible that encompasses much of our dreams for our podcast and the conversations that birthed this project from the beginning: a Portland Pilgrimage.
We wanted to orchestrate an event where someone could experience what it’s like to be on a pilgrimage without spending any money or having to travel outside their own city. We wanted to create a space for reflection and inspiration in the midst of our ‘regular lives.’ We wanted to take an afternoon to slow down, stretch our legs and see our surroundings with fresh eyes. We invited our listeners to join us to experience what we have termed ‘life in hopeful motion.’
Almost 30 pilgrims joined us on Sunday for this inaugural pilgrimage. We’d love for you to listen to the podcast we recorded the morning after our pilgrimage but most of all, we invite you to download the liturgy below and use it to take your own Portland Pilgrimage. If you do, please comment below or email us and let us know what the walk was like for you. We’d so appreciate hearing from you!
